We are a Ship Management and crewing company operating and managing a modern fleet of DP shuttle tankers, tugs, a bulk carrier, product tankers and pilot boats. In addition, we provide crew management services to other vessel owners. We offer opportunities for career advancement, excellent compensation, pension plans, full benefits and a day for day leave system.
At present we have a requirement for the following permanent position;
Chief Officer - Bulk Carrier
Qualifications: Yous hould hold a Canadian Chief Mate Certificate of Competency, and all appropriate Transport Canada certification including Specialized Oil Tanker Endorsement. You must have experience operating in ice preferably with ice-breaking vessel. Experience as Chief Officer of a Bulk Carrier and/or Tanker would be a definite asset.
Duties: Reporting directly to the Master, you will be responsible for cargo operations and management of the Deck Crew and work closely with the Chief Engineers regarding maintenance of the vessel equipment and machinery. You will be required to relieve the Master during voyages in ice infested waters.
