At present we have a requirement for the following permanent position;
Master, Bulk Carrier
Qualifications:Youshould hold a Canadian Master Mariner Certificate of Competency, and all appropriate Transport Canada certification including Specialized Oil Tanker Endorsement. You must have experience operating in ice preferably with ice-breaking vessel. Experience as Master of a Bulk Carrier and/or Tanker would be a definite asset.
Duties: You will be responsible for management and operation of the vessel and its crew including extensive ship handling. As the senior manager on board you will work closely with the vessel owner, charterer and manager to ensure a safe operation.
