Night Maintenance Engineer

Bay Ferries Limited operates the “The Cat” high speed ferry between Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and Bar Harbor, Maine. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Night Maintenance Engineer, to be located in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time seasonal opportunity from approximately June to October. This position provides maintenance for the vessel and in the shore based maintenance shop.

Qualifications:

  • Fourth class engineer or better
  • Journeyman trade or better in a relevant discipline i.e. millwright, pipefitter, electrician or machinist
  • Candidates with equivalent experience or aptitude will be considered
  • Valid Canadian Passport
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Willing to work nights
