We have an opening for a Messperson position on one of our ships, which sails from Montreal to St. John’s, NL. Reporting to the Chief Cook, the Messperson is responsible for cleaning the galley, dining rooms, refrigerators, freezers, dishes. He assists the chief cook in the preparation of meals as requested. He cleans the cabins.
Qualifications
- Marine Medical Certificate
- Certificate in food handling
- MED STCW Basic Safety
- Proficiency in Survival Crafts and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
- Proficiency, Ship Personnel with Designated Security Duties
Skills
- Good ability to work with a team
- Bilingual in French and English
