Lower Lakes Towing, located at 517 Main Street, Port Dover, ON N0A 1N0, operates a fleet of six self-unloading bulk carriers and three conventional bulk carriers in Canada. Combined with our U.S. sister companies, we have a combined fleet of 14 vessels. These vessels transport a diverse array of dry bulk commodities including limestone, coal, iron ore, salt, grain and other commodities for more than 50 long-standing customers in the construction, electric utility, integrated steel and food industries.

 

We have an immediate opening (1 vacancy) for a Naval Architect. The job details are:

  • Location: Port Dover, ON
  • Salary: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 / year (To be negotiated)
  • Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (37.50 hours per week)
  • Start date: As soon as possible

The job requirements are:

 

Languages: English

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is not available, Valid driver's licence

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
