On behalf of Maersk Tankers Singapore Pte Ltd, (3, HarbourFront Place,#12-02 HarbourFront Tower 2,Singapore 099254), Desgagnés is recruiting a Fourth Engineer on the M/T Bro Agnes(under Singapore flag) trading in the Great Lakes and Eastern Canada. These positions will start in August 10th2018 for about two (2) months.
The 4th Engineer performs preventive maintenance and repairs to pumps, purifiers and other auxiliary machinery in accordance with the Chief Engineer's instructions. He participates in major repairs and maintenance of the ship.
Job requirements:
· Fourth-class engineer, motor ship Certificate of Competency or higher (STCW)
· Certificate of Competency in Advanced Training for Oil Tanker Cargo Operations (STCW)
· Valid Marine Medical Certificate
· Certificate of Competency in Marine Emergency Duties (STCW)
· Marine Advanced First Aid certificate
· One (1) to three (3) years of experience as 4th engineer on oil/chemical tanker vessels
All applicants must have previous relevant experience on oil and chemical tankers and hold all appropriate STCW certificates recognized by the flag authority for the respective position as outlined above.
The hourly rate is $ 35,21 for the first 40 hours / week and $ 52,82 thereafter. Min. 8h / day, 7 days / week, vessel operating 24 hours / day). Insurance coverage in accordance with the Maritime Labor Convention 2006 (Articles 2.5 and 4.2).

Au nom de Maersk Tankers Singapore Pte Ltd, (3, HarbourFront Place #12-02 HarbourFront Tower 2, Singapour 099254), Desgagnés recrute un 4emécanicien à bord du N/C Bro Agnes (battant pavillon de Singapour) pour opérer sur les Grands Lacs et dans l'est du Canada. Ces postes débuteront le 10 août 2018 pour une durée approximative temporaire de deux (2) mois.
Le 4emécanicien effectue les activités d’entretien préventif et de réparations des pompes, des purificateurs et autres machineries auxiliaires et ce conformément aux instructions du Chef mécanicien. Il participe aux activités de réparations et entretiens majeurs du navire.
Exigences du poste:
· Brevet d’aptitude d’Officier mécanicien de quatrième classe, navire à moteur ou brevet plus élevé (STCW)
· Certificat d’aptitude de Formation avancée aux opérations liées à la cargaison des pétroliers (STCW)
· Certificat médical de la marine valide
· Certificat d’aptitude de Formation d’urgence en mer (STCW)
· Certificat d’aptitude en Secourisme avancé en mer
· Un (1) à trois (3) ans d’expériences à titre de 4emécanicien à bord d’un navire pétrolier/chimiquier
· Maîtrise de la langue anglaise (langue de travail)
Tous les candidats doivent avoir une expérience pertinente antérieure à bord de pétroliers et chimiquiers et détenir tous les certificats STCW appropriés reconnus par l'autorité du pavillon pour le poste respectif, tel indiqué ci-dessus.
Le taux horaire offert est de 35,21 $ pour les 40 premières heures / semaine et de 52,82 $ par la suite, min. 8h/jour, 7 jours/semaine, navire en fonction 24 heures /jour). Couverture d’assurance selon la Convention du Travail Maritime 2006 (art. 2,5, et 4,2).
