MARINE ENGINEER / 4TH CLASS, HAMILTON

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF WHAT TO EXPECT

Under the supervision of the Mechanical Superintendent and the Captain while in operations, you will be primarily responsible for the machinery operation of the tugboat including start up and shut down procedures of main engine(s) and auxiliary generators.

This position also requires you to work independently in assessing any mechanical breakdowns (machinery, pumps, hydraulics, electrical) from tear down, procurement of parts and rebuild to final installation.
