The Owen Sound Transportation Company is accepting resumes for the position of Extra 4th Engineer on the vehicle / passenger ferry MS Chi-Cheemaun. Job term is (1) year salary contract starting immediately. A potential exists of obtaining full time employment at a later date. Boarding location is Thunderbay. Meals and accomodation inclusive.
The Chi-Cheemaun is a 365' ferry capable of carrying 140 vehicles from Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula to South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island.
A typical work rotation consists of 3 weeks on / 1 week off following season start.
Qualifications
OSTC requires, at minimum, a valid 4th Engineers certificate. A copy of your CoC is to be included with your resume. An applicant with 3 to 5 years experience as Engineer is preferred.
