About
Company Description Sustainable Marine provides innovative engineering solutions and services to the marine renewable energy industry, and we operate the Tidal Pioneer, a EuroCarrier 2611 - one of the most advanced multi-purpose workboats on the Eastern seaboard.
The 26m Canadian flagged vessel was purpose-built in 2021 for performing marine operations in strong tides, and is equipped with 4-point moorings and dynamic positioning systems. The deck equipment includes forward and aft Heila cranes, a 100 ton anchor handling winch, a 50 ton towing winch, a 15 ton tugger winch, a 45 ton towing hook, shark jaws, and fore and aft tow pins. All together this provides an incredibly versatile working platform for supporting tidal energy, offshore wind, cable laying, aquaculture and coastal construction projects.
The vessel is based out of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and works primarily in the Bay of Fundy, but will sometimes work in US waters. We are looking for highly-skilled and motivated crew members to join our growing team. If you enjoy varied and challenging projects, working in an environment where you will use your traditional seamanship skills, as well as your understanding of modern technology and systems, to deliver results safely and effectively, please forward your resume to careers(at)sustainablemarine.com
