Coastal Shipping Ltd. - A division of the Woodward Group of Companies is presently looking for a full time 2nd Engineers with Specialized Oil Tanker Safety endorsement and experience in oil tanker operations. All applicants are encouraged to submit a resume with a copy of:
- Second Class Motor ticket
- Specialized Oil Tanker endorsement
- Specialized Chemical Tanker endorsement (if applicable)
- STCW Basic Safety (or equivalent)
- STCW Survival Craft Training (or equivalent)
- STCW Advanced Firefighting (or equivalent
- Ship Security Officer endorsement and/or Vessel Personnel with Security Duties certifcate of competency
- Valid Transport Canada Marine Medical
- Valid Marine Advanced First Aid
- WHMIS (if possessed; valid within the past 3 years)
- Passport
Preference will be given to those with 5 years experience as 2nd Engineer, and familiar with International Trade. Competitve salary and remuneration package; including 8% matching RPP contribution, group benefits and travel paid/reimbursed by company. Current rotation is approximately 45 days (+/- 4), depending on ships schedule. This ad is for a full-time permanent positions all applications will be kept on file for a minimum of 6 months.
