We are currently hiring and looking for Able-Bodied Seaman / Wheelsman (A/B) to join our container vessel that will be operating along the East Atlantic coast between Halifax, NS, Argentia, NL, Saint Pierre and Miquelon. We invite motivated, safety oriented marine professionals to join our crew. We offer competitive wage and benefits package with 4 weeks off and on.

Requirements:

  • Valid Transport Canada Marine Medical
  • Valid Transport Canada Certificate of Competency
  • Valid STCW Basic Safety (MED / Basic Safety Training)
  • Valid Vessel Personnel with Security Responsibilities (VPWSR) Certificate
  • Valid Passport
  • Authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit holder)
  • Comply with company safety, health, and sanitation procedures
  • Previous experience in similar capacity
  • Experience with ship's cranes operation is an asset
