Here are a few things regarding employment with us:
- We work with a leave system of 1 for 1 – this means that for every day worked you earn one day of leave paid at the same rate. This ensures a paycheck every 2 weeks even if you are working or at home;
- This leave system is created in such a way that would cover up to 4 hours of overtime each day, even if it's performed or not, 6% vacation, weekends, Statutory Holidays. Therefore, overtime only occurs if it's above 84 hours a week.
- we have Arctic bonus while sailing in Arctic.
- Also, for meals during travel time, we go with "reasonable" instead of fixed rates.
- We offer training
- RRSP 7% from the Company with or without the Officer's contribution.
- Health and Dental, LTD, Life are with Blue Cross and the Company covers 80% and the Employee 20%.
- The Company will arrange transportation to the Ship from the closest designated airport and return.
- We aim for every Second Christmas home and 45 days tours of duty
