We seek to fill one Ordinary Seaman / Deck Hand (with MED’s & Bridgewatch Certificate) position and one Ordinary Seaman / Deck hand (with MEDs) working a 7-day on/off rotation. The company provides meals and accommodation on the vessel during your work rotation.

Responsibilities
-
Assist with loading and unloading the ship.

Assist with passenger safety and welfare.
-
Assist with general mooring duties and routine deck maintenance.

Complete Fire and Safety Checks
Qualifications, Experience and Abilities
-
Marine Emergency Duties certification.
-
Bridgewatch certificate
-
Valid Transport Canada Marine Medical Certificate
-
Valid Canadian passport or landed immigrant status (PR Card).

Ability to perform high physical demands including:
-
Regular need to climb a flight of stairs.
-
Lifting and packing boxes up to 50 lbs.
-
Ability to stand consistently for 2 hours at a time.
-
Ability to climb up to 12 ft ladders.
-
Ability to see 100’ with good depth perception for catching lines.
-
Pull heavy cables up to 50 feet.
-
Stand consistently for 2 hours.
-
